"They have five kids of their own, three of them adopted from Serbia."
This sentence has been rolling around in my head for days. I read it on some one's blog. I honestly don't remember where. Argh, I really wish I could remember!! I'd love to link them here. (I don't even know if I remembered the numbers and the country correctly. If it sounds like you might have written this would you leave me a comment.)
When I first read that sentence I thought it was a great way to talk about adoption. I then marked that blog as read and moved to the next on my google blog reader. (Which I totally love and think everyone needs!) Even days later I am still thinking about that sentence. I love the way it was written. I want to keep it forefront in my mind. I want to talk about adoption that way. I want people to truly know my heart about adoption. I'm thankful that God adopted us as sons. I'm thankful that we have a picture of that in adoption.
I hope I can remember to always talk about adoption in that way. Won't you join me?
